Atiku’s adviser criticizes Keyamo for making a remark against a PDP candidate.

Phrank Shaibu, an assistant of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, chastised Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, on Monday for his recent remark against the former Vice President.

Keyamo, the presidential campaign spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC), claimed last week that Atiku had not been tested or trusted.
In terms of decision-making capacity, he continued, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was ahead of the PDP candidate.

Shaibu, who spoke on Channels Television’s Politics Today, claimed the minister’s remark about his principal was an example of illiteracy.

He went on to say that Keyamo’s remark was unbecoming of a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“You know it’s a sign of pitiful illiteracy when a Federal Republic of Nigeria minister speaks in this kind of language,” he remarked. Yes, you woke up and declared that parents should persuade ASUU to end the strike. He has forgotten that our educational system is in disarray; our schools and institutions are underfunded and ill-equipped.

“First and first, if you understand the function of Vice President, you should know that His Excellency Atiku Abubakar was not just the usual vice president. He was the economic team’s chairman. He built a formidable team. Have you forgotten the economic upheaval that telecommunications brought about? That team was led by him.”
