According to reports, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, and his long-time friend and Google co-founder, Sergey Brin, have cut connections over an alleged romance between the SpaceX CEO and Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan.
This was revealed in an article published by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on July 24, 2022.
According to “those acquainted with the case,” Brian filed for divorce in January of this year as a result of his brief love affair in December 2021.
According to Santa Clara County Superior Court records, Brian filed for divorce from his wife due to “irreconcilable disagreements.”
According to sources, Brian filed for divorce weeks after learning about Shanahan’s infidelity with a long-term friend.
Brin and his wife were said to be separated but still living together at the time of the event.
The divorce decree set the couple’s separation date as December 15, 2021.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk is the world’s richest individual, with an estimated fortune of $240 billion, while Brin ranks eighth with $95 billion.

According to the story, following the alleged affair, Brian directed his financial advisers to sell his personal assets in Musk’s firms, however “it couldn’t be learned how significant those investments are, or whether any sales had occurred.”
According to Pulse, Musk just backed out of a $44 million proposal to purchase Twitter, alleging a breach of several merger agreement conditions.
